The National Unity Platform party is a political and social liberation political party duly registered under the laws of Uganda. NUP is a progressive, social democratic organization, guided by the principles of servant leadership, equality, transparency, accountability, freedom, liberty, and social justice. The party is led by Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine, a popstar cum politician.

NUP joined forces with the popular People Power movement which was an amorphous political pressure group birthed around 2018 when then Kyadondo East MP Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert united the opposition under one umbrella and they swept all major by-elections ranging from Bugiri, Jinja, Rukungiri to Arua.
